PSP was the 1st Picture Editor i was using with Win32s Support, but they've literally took lightyears for their 1st 64-bit/圆4 Version - PS was 64-bit since CS4 already.Paint Shop Pro 1.0 (pictured here running on Windows XP), was released in 1992 for Windows 3.1.
Haven't being used PSP since many years then. Back into these early PSP days, only FIDO Net locally, and others, and my own BBS System, no internet, besides UseNet Boards. PSP was being too limited, the RAW Module lagged behind ACR included into PS, and the Interface became more and more sluggish, slow as molasses. Switched to PS, with CS4, and still being happy with CS6, and also being using DarkTable since 0.3x. My last PSP was being 12.xx, whileas being using Photoshop into parallel, and found it being better for my needs. A long time, and many years later, Corel bought it. I've found it afaik onto a NightOwl Shareware CD. I have used Paint Shop Pro since 1.0, it was Shareware, into the early 90's, made by Jasc.
The Ultimate version includes PaintShop Pro 2020 bundled with other software, including Painter Essentials, Parallels Toolbox, and more, plus a collection of backgrounds, brushes and textures for $99.99 USD. The updated software brings a new Photography Workspace interface designed for photographers who need to make ‘quick edits,’ as well as new tools, performance enhancements and what Corel calls a ‘streamlined workflow.’ Software company Corel has taken the wraps off PaintShop Pro 2020 and PaintShop Pro 2020 Ultimate, the newest version of its image editing application.
